James Allman has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and operations research. James started their career with the Air Force Pentagon Communications Agency as the Chief of Network Security and later took on the role of Crew Commander in the Network Operations Center. James then served as the Executive Officer in the 821st Air Base Group before becoming the Information Security Officer at NATO HQ Sarajevo in 2006. In 2007, they worked as an Electronic Warfare Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. James joined the 1st Air and Space Communications Operations Squadron in 2005 as the Flight Commander and later attended Squadron Officer School in 2008. James then joined the Joint Functional Component Command - Network Warfare as a Cyber Planner and eventually became the Joint Operations Center Battle Captain.
