Division Chief, Logistics Operations at United States Cyber Command

Jaron Ard's work experience starts in 2005 and includes various roles in different companies.

From 2005 to 2009, Jaron Ard worked as a Logistics Manager, overseeing four separate logistics organizations including global deployments, vehicle transportation and maintenance, and warehousing operations.

In 2006, Jaron Ard served as the Chief of Logistics for Task Force New Horizons, leading a 400-member task force and managing multi-modal air, land, and sea transport.

From 2009 to 2012, Jaron Ard worked as the Global Deployments Manager and Fuels Manager, overseeing deployments of personnel and cargo to worldwide theaters and managing fuel infrastructure. They also managed the Air Force's largest special fuels account.

In 2012, Jaron Ard became the Chief, Deployments & Distribution Division in the Logistics Directorate at US Cyber Command, leading transportation delivery and managing deployments. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Director of Operations in the Logistics Directorate, managing workflow and overseeing facility project planning.

In 2015, Jaron Ard joined Akima Technical Solutions as a Fuels Manager, overseeing contracted aircraft fuels organization and managing a 24/7 operation in support of the VIPSAM mission.

In 2016, they returned to US Cyber Command as the Command Support Agreements Manager & Logistics Readiness Staff Officer, managing logistics support agreements with other government agencies and providing logistics planning expertise.

Their most recent position is Division Chief of Logistics Operations at US Cyber Command, which began in 2020. In this role, Jaron Ard integrates logistics into operations, leads the movement and maneuver and sustainment JOC cell, and serves as the command's lead advisor for COVID-19 policy and planning.

Jaron Ard's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In 2005, they completed the Air and Space Basic Course, focusing on Leadership and Management. In 2009, Jaron attended the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology for LOG 299, Joint Combat Logistics. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Trident University International. In 2011, they also attended the Squadron Officer School for Leadership and Management. In 2015 and 2016, Jaron completed the Akima Project Management Course.
