Gonzalo Gallegos has a diverse work experience in various government agencies and organizations. Gonzalo also held positions at the Organization of American States, where they served as Secretary of the Inter-American Committee Against Terrorism. Earlier in their career, they worked at the State Department in positions such as Counselor for Public Affairs in Islamabad, Pakistan and Director of the Office of Press Relations. Gonzalo Gallegos obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University, which they attended from 1982 to 1986. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University, completing it between 2005 and 2006.
