Jake Harris

Jake Harris has extensive experience in publishing and web development. Jake worked as the Director of Publishing at the United States Institute of Peace from October 2016 to the present. Prior to this, they were an Independent Contractor at Alexander Street Press from April 2016 to October 2016. Jake also held various roles at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) from December 2001 to April 2012, including Director of Publications and Editorial Production Manager. Jake began their career as a Web Developer & Designer at the Earth Data Analysis Center (EDAC), University of New Mexico, from May 2000 to May 2001.

Jake Harris completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, South Africa from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on English and Professional Writing at The University of New Mexico, from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Word: Templates in Depth (365/2019)" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
