Kate Higginbothom

Chief Administrative Officer at U.S. International Trade Commission

Kate Higginbothom has extensive work experience in the public sector. Kate currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at the U.S. International Trade Commission, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the Federal Election Commission for over 15 years, where they held various positions including Deputy Staff Director for Management & Administration and Assistant General Counsel. Kate also served as a Staff Attorney and Presidential Management Fellow during their time at the Federal Election Commission.

Kate Higginbothom's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Florida, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Kate then pursued a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from Georgetown University, completing it from 2003 to 2005. Finally, they attended The University of Texas School of Law from 2005 to 2008, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
