Kelly Strong

Kelly Strong serves as the Executive Director of the Boston Shipping Association since August 2018, managing multi-million dollar investments and labor agreements for various maritime stakeholders. Strong is also a member of the Board of Directors for the United States Maritime Alliance Limited and the North Atlantic Ports Association Inc., and holds the position of Vice President on the board of the Maritime Alliance in Defense of Designated Port Areas. Additionally, Strong contributes as a board member for the Commonwealth Employment Relations Board and the MILA Health and Welfare Benefits Fund, alongside advisory roles at Boston Harbor Now. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Labor Relations/Labor Counsel at the Massachusetts Port Authority and holding senior labor relations positions at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the City of Revere Law Department. Strong holds a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Norwich University, complemented by education from the Harvard Kennedy School.
