Joseph Lindquist

Joseph Lindquist currently serves as Program Director at the United States Military Academy, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Joseph held a sabbatical as a Mathematics Professor at West Point, collaborating with scientists at IBM Research on innovative methods for interpreting unstructured text data. Joseph's extensive experience also includes roles as Core Mathematics Program Director and Program Director for Mathematics Electives at the United States Military Academy, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing a calculus course focused on mathematical modeling. Prior to these positions, Joseph was a Senior Operations Research Analyst at the Center for Army Analysis, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses for military operations in various contexts. Joseph holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, along with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
