Scott Silverstone

Scott Silverstone is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in international relations, currently serving as a Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and as a Senior Fellow at The Catholic University of America. Silverstone also holds the position of Future of War Fellow at New America and Arizona State University, where research focused on preventive war culminated in the book "From Hitler's Germany to Saddam's Iraq: The Enduring False Promise of Preventive War." With previous roles including Deputy Head of the Department of Social Sciences at West Point and faculty positions at Bard College and the University of Pennsylvania, Silverstone's educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire. Silverstone's military experience includes service as a Crisis Staff Officer in the US Naval Reserve and the US Navy.
