Colleen Marie Grinnell is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in federal contracting and management. Currently serving as the Chief Procurement Officer at the United States Mint since March 2008, Colleen has held various roles within the organization, including Branch Chief of Management & Operations Procurement and Contracting Officer. Prior experience includes positions as a Contract Specialist at U.S. Customs and Border Protection and DISYS, and earlier roles as an Academic Intern at Altria and Philip Morris Management Corporation. Colleen began her career as a Dispute Resolution Specialist at the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Colleen holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Fairfield University.

It also produces proof, uncirculated, and commemorative coins; Congressional Gold Medals; and silver, gold and platinum bullion coins.The United States Mint wasfounded in 1792 and is based in Washington, D.C. It operates six facilities across the United States with each facility performing unique functions. Current facilities include the Headquarters in Washington, DC; production facilities in Philadelphia, PA; West Point, NY; Denver, CO; and San Francisco, CA; and the United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox, KY.
