Corey Nealon has a diverse work experience in the creative and marketing industry. From 2008 to 2012, Corey worked at Paramount as a Writer/Producer of On-Air Promotional Content, where they created A/V promos across various genres and devised award-winning brand campaigns. From 2012 to 2016, Corey joined Viacom, first as a Supervising Producer/Director of Video Creative & Branding, and later as VH1 Senior Director of Video Creative, Branding & Strategy. In these roles, they oversaw creative development, marketing executions, and managed teams, achieving increased audience retention and digital engagement. From 2016 to 2017, Corey worked as a Freelance Writer/Director/Producer/Marketer at freeform creative, collaborating with clients to create multimedia content and strategic marketing plans. From 2017 to 2023, Corey worked at DEFINITION 6, starting as the Head Social Content Creator/Producer and later as a Senior Creative Producer/Director/Writer. In these roles, they spearheaded client projects, developed creative content for top-tier networks and companies, and achieved impressive results on social and digital media platforms. Corey's most recent position is as the Creative Director at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, starting in 2023.
Corey Nealon has a Bachelor's degree in Communications, with a focus on Journalism, Multimedia Production, and Marketing, from Manhattan College. Additionally, Corey participated in a Study Abroad Program at the National University of Ireland, where the emphasis was on Marketing and Advertising Strategy. Corey also pursued Continuing Education at New York University, specifically in the field of Film and Television Production and Editing.
