Daniel Clearfield

Daniel Clearfield, DO, MS, FAOASM, serves as the Founder, CEO, and Medical Director of Motion is Medicine Sports Medicine since February 2019, specializing in sports medicine, non-operative orthopedics, osteopathic manipulative medicine, regenerative medicine, and concussion management. In July 2023, Clearfield also established Physicians Unchained, a consulting service aimed at empowering physicians to transition to cash-based practices independent of insurance constraints. Additionally, Clearfield holds positions as Team Physician for XFL, USA Judo, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, and USA Wrestling. Prior experience includes serving as a primary care sports medicine physician and concussion management specialist at MaxHealth Family & Sports Medicine from July 2016 to February 2019 and as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth from 2011 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathy and Master of Science from UNT Health Science Center, along with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
