Dragomir Cioroslan

Dragomir Cioroslan has a wealth of experience in the sports industry. Dragomir began their career in 1993 with USA Weightlifting, where they served as the Head National Team Coach at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Dragomir managed the Resident Program for weightlifters, applying cutting-edge sports science to enhance performance and inspire athletes to reach their personal best. During this time, they were also a member of the USOC Sports Science and Technology Committee, contributing to the development of a code of ethics for coaches in all sports.

In 1999, Cioroslan joined the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), where they held several roles. As Vice President, they planned and managed two annual congresses with representatives from up to 100 countries. Dragomir also served as an Executive Board Member, responsible for administering the affairs of the organization consisting of 21 countries. Additionally, they chaired the IWF Scientific and Research Committee, focusing on the development and implementation of coaching and technical/scientific programs. Dragomir also chaired the IWF Marketing and Financial Commission.

In 2006, Cioroslan joined the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) as the Director of International Strategies and Development. Their responsibilities included developing, implementing, and managing international outreach programs, supporting National Governing Bodies, and leading international relations strategies.

In 2019, Dragomir obtained a certification in Executive Leadership from LinkedIn, and in 2014, they acquired a certification in "Learning How to Learn: Powerful Mental Tools to Help You Master Tough Subjects" from Coursera Verified Certificates.
