Gary Lewis

Gary Lewis currently serves as the Academy Technical Director for Chicago Fire FC since December 2022, where responsibilities include leading the coaching direction and providing strategic leadership for the academy. In addition, Gary is a Lead Coach Educator for the U.S. Soccer Federation, involved in coaching education since November 2021. Previous coaching roles include Head Coach for New York Red Bulls II, Academy Director and U17 Head Coach at Seattle Sounders FC, and U17 Head Coach at Philadelphia Union. Gary has also held temporary positions such as U18 US Men's National Team Assistant Coach, along with leadership roles in youth development at Liverpool Football Club and coaching at Everton Football Club. Prior to entering the coaching profession, Gary attended Norton Priory Comprehensive in Runcorn, Cheshire, from 1982 to 1987.
