Andrew Layman

Andrew Layman currently serves as a Senior Executive Officer to the Director, Secretary of the Air Force, Legislative Liaison at the United States Department of the Air Force, a position held since June 2024. In addition, Andrew is the Chief of Space Operations Programs at the United States Space Force, where work has been ongoing since June 2020. Andrew's previous roles include serving as a Space Force Officer, Operations Officer, and Deputy Chief of Program Integration within the United States Space Force. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master of Science in Space Studies from the American Public University System, and a Master's degree in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, with the latter anticipated to be completed in June 2024. Prior military experience includes ten years as an Air Force Officer, specifically as a Space Superiority Programs Officer at Air Force Space Command from March 2019 to May 2020.
