David Waddell is an accomplished professional in military space operations and engineering, currently serving as the Executive Officer to the Military Deputy at the United States Space Force since January 2020. Waddell has held various significant roles, including Program Element Monitor for OPIR Ground (FORGE) and NC3 Strategic Terminals (FAB-T), and Staff Director for Space Sensing and Deputy Chief of Field Command Congressional Affairs, where responsibilities included liaising with high-ranking officials and managing communication with Congressional defense committees. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Branch Chief of the DoD Space Test Program and working as an International Project Manager for the Cooperative Biological Engagement Program with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
