George Boyarko, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of aerospace engineering and defense. George began their career as a Chemical Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company in 2001. George then moved on to work as an Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 2003. Afterwards, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at NASA Glenn Research Center from 2002 to 2004. Following this, George became a Research Aerospace Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2004. In 2010, they joined Air Force Space Command, where they held roles as both an Operations Research Analyst and Research Aerospace Engineer, as well as the Chief of the Space Control Analysis Branch.
In 2016, George became an Instructor of Astronautics at the United States Air Force Academy, and then moved on to become a Technical Lead in the Wargaming, Space Security & Defense Program at the United States Air Force in 2018. George continued this role when they transitioned to the United States Space Force in 2020.
George Boyarko, PhD, earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2010. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2004. Their educational journey began at the University of Cincinnati, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1995 to 2001.
