Joshua Brunson

Division Chief, Cyber Operations, Space Forces-indopacific at United States Space Force

Joshua Brunson has extensive work experience in the United States Air Force and United States Space Force. Joshua currently serves as the Director of Operations for the 64th Cyberspace Squadron in the United States Space Force. Prior to this, they held the same position for the 62nd Cyberspace Squadron. Before joining the Space Force, Joshua worked in various roles in the United States Air Force, including Flight Commander, Operations/Mission Defense, Assistant Director of Operations, Deputy Chief of the Wing Commanders Action Group, Deputy Division Chief of Communications Plans, Evaluator of Cyber Operations Standardization and Evaluation, and Flight Commander of Plans and Resources. Joshua also completed undergraduate cyber training as a student.

Joshua Brunson earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas from 2017 to 2020. In addition, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the same university between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems at Louisiana Tech University from 2007 to 2011. Joshua Brunson has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council (expected in 2022), GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from SANS Institute (obtained in 2020), and Security+ from CompTIA (obtained in 2013).
