Marcus Fairchild

Marcus Fairchild has a diverse work experience in the field of space operations and warfare planning. Marcus currently holds the position of Director of Operations at the United States Space Force. Prior to this role, they served as a Space Superiority Instructor at the USAF Weapons School from 2020 to 2023. In 2022, Marcus worked as a Space Electromagnetic Warfare Planner at U.S. European Command, where they planned electromagnetic warfare operations in support of U.S. and NATO operations against Russian actions in Ukraine. From 2017 to 2020, they worked in Space Operations at Air Force Space Command. Additionally, Marcus has held various roles including Unit Commander at U.S. Africa Command, Crew Commander at U.S. Central Command, and Range Control Officer at the United States Air Force. Marcus also worked as a Student Ambassador at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2011 to 2013.
