Alexander Barnett

Alexander Barnett is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and design within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Product Development Engineer IV at United States Steel Corporation since March 2019, Alexander leads the design and project management of the high-torque Talon HTQ connection and is actively expanding the USS Premium Connection portfolio. Prior experiences include senior roles at companies such as AIRIS Wellsite Services, BiSN, and FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, focusing on new product development and mechanical design. Additionally, Alexander has held leadership positions at Bayou Well Services, overseeing engineering functions while beginning a career at Schlumberger, where involvement in sustaining and developing downhole completion valves took place. Alexander earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2007.
