Ben Senkowicz

Ben Senkowicz has extensive experience in quality assurance and operational excellence within the steel industry, currently serving as the Manager of Quality Assurance for the Finishing Division at United States Steel Corporation since January 2008. In this role, Ben supervises a team of four Quality Engineers focusing on annealing, sheet finishing, and coating processes. Ben also brings expertise in managing cost savings and customer satisfaction projects from previous roles as Manager and Specialist in Operational Excellence. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Product Metallurgist and Quality Engineer in the Process Technology Department at Mon Valley Works. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
