Hooman Sabarou

Hooman Sabarou, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Materials Development Engineer at United States Steel Corporation, focusing on research and development for Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) and associated data analysis. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Scholar position at the University of California, Riverside, where research involved high-temperature experiments on graphite formations and interactions between molten metals and ceramics. At Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Hooman established new analysis methods for X-ray diffraction measurements and conducted studies on advanced materials for clean energy. Initial experience includes roles at Florida International University as a Graduate Assistant and at the University of Tehran managing an electron microscopy lab.
