Karl G. Kocsis

Karl Kocsis is a highly experienced Human Resources and Labor Relations Executive currently serving as Vice President HR - Chief Labor Relations Officer at United States Steel Corporation since November 2011. In this role, Kocsis is responsible for overseeing HR and labor relations for North American Flat Roll, Tubular, and Mining segments, as well as corporate labor relations and HR organization in Slovakia. Previous positions include Vice President Human Resources & Labor Relations and General Manager, Human Resources, where Kocsis managed HR functions at integrated steel mills and subsidiaries. Kocsis began a career in HR leadership at U.S. Steel Tubular Products, Inc., overseeing the tubular business unit and enhancing workforce efficiency. Kocsis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Allegheny College.
