Michelle Johnston has a diverse work experience in the behavioral health field. Michelle started their career at Daybreak Princeton Girls Home as a Senior Counselor and worked there for five years. Michelle then moved on to Savio House, where they served as a Program Supervisor for two years. In 2007, Michelle joined Doctors Care as a Program Director and held that position for six years. Since 2013, they have been associated with U.S.VETS (United States Veterans Initiative), initially serving as a Clinical Director and eventually becoming the Director of Behavioral Health.
Michelle Johnston earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry from Colorado Christian University in 2000. Michelle then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver, which they completed in 2005. Prior to these degrees, Michelle attended Xavier University from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Mathematics.
