Joon So

Joon So currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at United Steel, a position held since 2022. Previously, Joon was President of Lucent Capital Partners from 2020 to 2021 and held various senior roles at Samsung Electronics, including Corporate SVP for the Compressor/Motor Business and Global Strategic Sourcing in 2019, and President & CEO of Samsung Electronics Home Appliances of America between 2017 and 2018. Joon also worked as Corporate SVP & Head of Business Innovation for Home Appliances at Samsung Electronics in early 2017 and spent significant time at Electrolux Major Appliances, where roles included SVP/GM for Cold & Home Comfort Products and VP/GM for multiple product lines over a decade. Joon So has full P&L responsibility experience for multi-billion dollar businesses and holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Duke University and a BSBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
