Akira Shelton

Akira Shelton is an experienced professional currently serving as a Trainee at United Talent Agency since May 2024. Previously, Akira was active at Tulane University, contributing as a Student Advisory Board Member and Co-Chair for the Tulane Undergraduate Assembly, where administrative tasks were performed, and equitable practices were codified into the organization's guiding documents. Akira also worked as a Council Aide for the City of Los Angeles during the summer of 2023 and as a Radio Disc Jockey for WTUL New Orleans 91.5 FM since August 2021. Additional roles included an internship at Soapbox Inc. and production management for the Tulane University Performing Arts Society, along with leadership positions at UPSTAGE THEATRE SCHOOLS INC. Akira Shelton is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at Tulane University, with a solid foundation established through a high school diploma from University High School.
