Paloma Riojas

Paloma Riojas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the entertainment industry. Paloma currently works as a Writer at United Talent Agency since July 2022. Previously, Paloma worked as a Freelance Writer/Producer at Pollution.tv from November 2018. Paloma also held the position of Writer/Producer at Artists First from June 2020 until August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Writer/Producer at Mandalay Pictures from September 2017 to August 2022. Paloma also worked as a Media/Film Consultant at Movie Market from November 2019 to July 2020.

In terms of their early career, Paloma served as a Development Executive at Producciones Pingüino from September 2016 to September 2017. Paloma was responsible for generating and developing original series concepts, leading content creation, and sourcing new intellectual property (IP) for project development. Paloma started their career as an Intern at Plan B Entertainment from January 2011 to December 2012, where they tracked and reviewed incoming material and provided administrative assistance. Paloma also worked as a Student Assistant at the University of Southern California from August 2010 to December 2012 during their time as an MFA Candidate in the School of Cinematic Arts Television and Film Production Program. Paloma'sresponsibilities included organizing communication with students, guiding them through the film production process, and assisting with syllabus and assignments.

Additionally, Paloma gained experience as a Summer Intern in Social Media at Creative Artists Agency from June 2011 to September 2011. In this role, they researched and organized client social media sites, created grids for social media advertising campaigns, and read and covered scripts for MP Lit Assistants. Paloma also had the opportunity to attend the CAA Speaker Series, where they had meetings with agency partners and agents.

Paloma Riojas holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Television and Film Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Prior to pursuing their MFA, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film/Television and another BA degree in Communication at UC San Diego.
