Richard Slade is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in metallurgical engineering and quality management. Currently serving as VP of Operations, Quality Manager, Senior Metallurgist, CWI, and ASNT Level III at United Technical Inc since May 2013, Richard oversees technical operations and leads failure analysis projects within the Material Science area. Prior roles include Laboratory Manager and Metallurgist at General Motors Global R&D Center MPL, where significant contributions were made in specialized testing and employee training, as well as Metallography Supervisor at Element Materials Technology, responsible for quality assurance and laboratory accreditation. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Eastern Michigan University and multiple associate degrees in Metallurgy, Tool and Die Design, and Mechanical Design from Schoolcraft College.
