Gerard Barabich

Gerard Barabich has had a diverse work experience, starting in 2016. Gerard has served as a Board Member for UTS Carrier LLC, providing strategic direction to the management of the Joint Venture with Carrier Corporation. Gerard has also been a Board Member for OCS Emirates LLC, where they provided strategic direction and governance oversight to the Joint Venture with OSC UK, and chaired the Board Audit Committee. Additionally, they have held the position of Senior Vice President at United Technical Services (UTS), where they advised the Chairman and CEO, served as a Board Director or Advisor for all Joint Ventures and Subsidiaries of the Group, and was responsible for mergers, acquisitions, and disposals of the Group as well as private investments by the Chairman. Gerard also played a mentoring role in developing successors for the business.

Gerard Barabich attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. In 1992, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ).
