Nilda Mesa

Nilda Mesa currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for United Therapeutics Corporation and holds the position of Director for Urban Sustainability and Equity Planning at the Center for Sustainable Urban Development, Columbia University. Nilda Mesa is also a Visiting Professor at Sciences Po and an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. With a strong background in climate, sustainable development, and equity, Nilda Mesa previously directed the Urban Design Lab at the Earth Institute, Columbia University, and led the NYC Mayor's Office of Sustainability and the NYC Mayor's Office of Environmental Coordination. Nilda Mesa's academic qualifications include a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a BA in History from Northwestern University.
