Renee Gadson currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at United to Learn since August 2023. Previously, Gadson held the position of Vice President, Heart Challenge at the American Heart Association from July 2021 to May 2023, leading fundraising initiatives that increased the Dallas Heart Challenge from $6M to $10M. In earlier roles, Gadson served as Senior Director of Corporate Relations at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, generating over $3M in annual fundraising, and Executive Director of the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance, managing a $1.3M budget while directing a major policy debate program. Other positions include North Texas Field Director for Souper Bowl of Caring, Development Officer for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Workplace Campaign Manager for United Way of Northern New Jersey, Nonprofit Consultant at The Gadson Group, Executive Director of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Development Director at KIPP DC. Gadson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Government Management (Public Administration) from Southeastern University.

United to Learn (U2L) is a Dallas-based education nonprofit that is changing lives by transforming the relationship between schools and community. United to Learn is focused on accelerating student literacy achievement across Dallas ISD elementary schools with plans to expand to all District Title 1 schools. The key to this model is mobilizing community partnerships with businesses, high schools, faith-based organizations, individuals, and groups. Together we work to create a united, thriving community.
