Simon Cain

Simon Cain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in asset management and planning. Currently serving as Asset Lifecycle & Planning Manager at United Utilities since July 2015, Simon has developed frameworks to enhance organizational understanding of asset relationships. Previously, Simon held roles such as Strategic Investment Planner at Yorkshire Water, where investment plans were developed for AMP6, and Project Manager for Asset Management at Network Rail, overseeing Route Asset Management Plans. Additional experience includes contributions at Network Rail in various asset management roles, project management for the Institute of Asset Management, and early career work as a Graduate Technical Consultant. Simon holds a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Leeds.
