Philippe Porral

Philippe Porral has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Philippe started their career in 1981 as an Ingénieur Technico-commercial at COMPUTERVISION SA. From there, they moved on to work as an Ingénieur Développement Informatique at SPRING SA from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they worked as an Ingénieur développement informatique at Groupe PSA from 1988 to 1991. Philippe then took on the role of Responsable informatique at Panhard from 1992 to 1996, and later at Groupe PSA from 1997 to 1999. From 2000 to 2008, they served as an Ingénieur de recherche, Responsable de lots d'innovation at Groupe PSA. Most recently, they have been working as the Executive Chairman and Co-founder at United Visual Researchers since August 2017.

Philippe Porral obtained their PhD in 2016 from Mines Paris. Philippe'sdoctoral thesis was focused on "Environnements lumineux naturels en mode Spectral et Polarisé. Modélisation, Acquisition, Simulation" in the field of synthetic imaging. Prior to that, they received a degree in computer engineering from Mines Douai in 1981.
