Patrick O'Connell is a highly experienced hydrogeologist with a diverse background in groundwater resource evaluation and management. Currently serving as a Senior Hydrogeologist at United Water Conservation District since July 2023, Patrick focuses on groundwater conditions and collaboration with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Hydrogeologist at EKI Environment & Water, Inc., where responsibilities included technical support for Sustainable Groundwater Management Act implementation and aquifer recharge optimization. Patrick also has project management experience in groundwater evaluations and Groundwater Sustainability Plans at Daniel B. Stephens & Associates, and has contributed to various water resource investigations in roles at INTERA Incorporated, West Yost Associates, and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Geology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's Degree in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
