Tessa Lenz is an experienced Environmental Scientist currently managing environmental regulatory compliance for the Santa Felicia Project at United Water Conservation District since October 2019. Prior to this role, Tessa served as an Associate Environmental Scientist in the same project, and previously worked at the State Water Resources Control Board in the Environmental Review Unit. Tessa's extensive background includes roles such as Secretary of the Board and member of the finance committee at the California Student Sustainability Coalition, Staff Scientist at Janelle Nolan & Assoc. Environmental Consulting, and Fisheries Staff with the California Conservation Corps Foundation. Tessa has also contributed through various internships and volunteer positions focused on avian research and habitat restoration, building a solid foundation in ecology and biology with a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
