Rita Gupta

Rita Gupta is a seasoned non-profit professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and corporate partnerships. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Individual Philanthropy at United Way Bay Area since March 2021, Rita previously held the position of Director of Corporate Partnerships. Prior experience includes tenure at Acton-Boxborough United Way as Major Donor Manager, where Rita significantly increased major donor revenues and developed business sponsorship opportunities. Rita's career spans various roles in the corporate sector, including positions at Sun Microsystems and IBM, where key contributions involved managing strategic initiatives and developing e-business solutions. Rita began a professional career in finance and auditing at Merck and PwC, supported by an MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
