Brandon Kisker has a vast work experience in various roles related to marketing, communications, and digital media. Brandon started their career as a Design and New Media Intern at VerbaVoice GmbH in 2010, where they designed promotional materials and translated documents and websites. Brandon then worked as a Broadcast & Community Hockey Intern at Tampa Bay Lightning in 2011, assisting with radio broadcasts and post-game interviews. In 2012, they worked as a Web Developer in a self-employed capacity.

Kisker's career in sports marketing began in 2013 when they became the Broadcaster and Manager of Marketing, Media Relations & Digital Assets at Stockton Thunder. Brandon then joined Stockton Heat Hockey Club in 2015 as the Director of Communications and New Media, overseeing the transition of hockey brands and managing various departments. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Media Manager at Visit Lodi! Conference and Visitors Bureau.

From 2019 to 2023, Kisker served as a Senior Marketing & Communications Manager at Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada, responsible for overseeing marketing and communication strategies. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at United Way California Capital Region.

Kisker has demonstrated skills in brand management, content creation, budget management, website and app development, IT troubleshooting, and cultivating media relationships. Brandon is experienced in multiple industries and has a strong background in sports marketing and communications.

Brandon Kisker completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati from 2007 to 2012. In 2010, they also studied Communication and New Media at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München for a year. Prior to their time at the University of Cincinnati, they attended the University at Buffalo from 2006 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Brandon obtained the New Manager Foundations certification from LinkedIn in January 2021, the Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager certification from LinkedIn in December 2020, and the Stockton Certified Tourism Ambassador certification from the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ (CTA) Program in June 2015.
