Laura Baldwin Hildeburn has a diverse background in educational and managerial roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Special Projects and Executive Assistant at United Way California Capital Region since September 2022, Laura previously held the position of Lead Educator at the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity, contributing to the museum's launch in November 2021. Experience as the Behind-The-Scenes Tour Coordinator at Sacramento Zoo involved designing and implementing a new tour program, while time as a Marine Science Instructor at Catalina Island Marine Institute included conducting hands-on educational activities for students aged 9-18. Additionally, Laura worked as an After School Teacher at Sacramento Waldorf School for a brief period. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2016.
