Scott Rust

Scott Rust has extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Flyscan Systems Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors for United Way for Greater Austin and Austin Theatre Alliance, Rust has also held significant positions at NI (National Instruments) from June 1990 to October 2023. Rust's notable roles at NI included Executive Vice President of Global Operations, where oversight spanned 3,200 employees across multiple countries, and Senior Vice President of Global Product R&D, focusing on fostering innovation and long-term growth. Rust earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1990.
