Mindy Smith

Mindy Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles focused on health services, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as the National Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Indigenous Collaborations at United Way Centraide Canada since May 2022, Mindy previously held positions including Director at a private company and Director Of Health Services at the Native Women's Association of Canada. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Programs at Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health and a Surveillance Officer with the Public Health Agency of Canada for over two decades. Mindy's career began as a Law Clerk in the private sector. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Law Clerk Studies from ILCO and a degree in Police Sciences from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
