Amy L.

Amy L. has extensive experience in operations and project management, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Special Projects at the United Way of Central Alabama since February 2020. In this role, Amy coordinates special projects, focusing on various aspects including facility administration, vendor relationships, and organizational risk management. Previously, positions held at United Way included Special Projects Director and Special Projects Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed managing workflows, contracts, and audits, as well as administration of the Jefferson County Community Service Fund. Prior experience includes serving as Office Manager at Big Brother Big Sisters of the Twin Tiers, Executive Assistant to the Deputy Executive Director at Hopewell Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and Administrative Assistant at ADAC Community Counseling. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
