Amy Thomas has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Amy started their career at Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama in 2015 as a Development Manager. Amy later served as the Interim Director of Development before transitioning to the United Way of Central Alabama in 2018. At United Way, Amy held the position of Relationship Manager for three years before being promoted to the role of Director of Annual Campaign in June 2021.
Amy Thomas received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Mississippi State University in 2011. Amy then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Literature from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they completed in 2015.
