Eric Harrison has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Eric is currently serving as the President and CEO of the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. Prior to this, they held the same position at the United Way of Ventura County.

Before joining United Way, Harrison was the Executive Director of Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing (GLEH), where they successfully rebranded the organization and led the development of an LGBT-friendly affordable housing complex in Hollywood. Eric also expanded the organization's model to other cities through collaboration with stakeholders and elected officials.

Harrison also served as the Development Director for Equality California, where they achieved fundraising goals and supported historic victories in electoral and legislative initiatives.

Eric Harrison attended Concordia College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Eric'smajor subjects were Communication and Media Studies, French, and English Writing. In 2006, they enrolled at the Minnesota School of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2008. Eric'sfield of study during this period was Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degrees, Eric obtained a certification in Performance Measurement for Nonprofit Organizations from the Harvard Kennedy School in June 2017.
