Ileana Kniss has a strong background in development and community relations. Ileana is currently the Chief Development and Marketing Officer at the United Way of Central Florida. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Development and Community Relations at Peace River Center for Personal Development, Inc. from April 2017 to June 2023. Before that, they worked at the Polk State College Foundation as the Director of Development from 2011 to April 2017. Ileana also has experience as a Fund Development Coordinator at Lakeland Regional Medical Center Foundation from July 2010 to March 2011. Additionally, Ileana worked in development at the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland from 2006 to 2010 and as an Administrative Assistant at the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce from February 2005 to December 2006.
Ileana Kniss completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Communication, General from Polk State College between 1998 and 2001. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, General from the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2004.
