Kelly Sparks

Kelly Sparks is an experienced professional in event planning and management, currently serving as the Tocqueville Society Director at United Way of Central Iowa since July 2021. Prior to this role, Kelly held the position of Vice President of Meetings and Events at Diversified Management Services, Inc., where responsibilities included developing event strategies and managing a team for numerous high-profile events. As the owner and sole employee of Socialize, Kelly excelled in all facets of event planning. Additional experience includes positions as Events Manager at the Des Moines Area Religious Council and Kum & Go, L.C., as well as Development Manager for the National MS Society. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communication and Psychology from the University of Iowa.
