Mary Sellers

Mary Sellers is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as President of the United Way of Central Iowa since July 2021. Previously, Mary held the position of U.S. President at United Way from April 2017 to July 2019 and served as President of the United Way of Central Iowa from March 2012 to May 2017. Mary also contributed as President and CEO of The Children's Museum of the Upstate and led the Science Center of Iowa in the same capacity from April 1999 to August 2008, following a role as Vice President of Marketing at Orlando Science Center. Mary's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida and both an MBA and Executive MBA from the University of Iowa.
