SVP, Chief Grants Officer at United Way of Central Maryland

Rob Clark is the Senior Vice President and Chief Grants Officer at United Way of Central Maryland. Rob has over fifteen years of experience in the development and implementation of after-school programs, sustainability initiatives, and community engagement.

Clark began their career as a Sustainability Specialist with the Baltimore Safe and Sound Campaign. In this role, they were responsible for developing funding analyses and grant proposals for additional funding of after-school programs. Rob also supported the development and implementation of Baltimore’s Community School’s initiative.

In 2006, Clark joined Family League of Baltimore as their Senior Director of Impact / Chief of Learning and Evaluation. In this role, they developed logic models and performance measures for initiatives agency-wide, as foundation to strengthen data collection and data use to inform program improvement and evaluate impact. Rob also served as the lead writer for a number of Family League public and private grant proposals.

In their current role as Senior Vice President and Chief Grants Officer at United Way of Central Maryland, Clark oversees all aspects of grantmaking, including developing strategy, writing proposals, conducting site visits, and managing relationships with grantees. Rob also manages a team of grant writers and coordinators.

Rob Clark received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Tulane University.
