Molly Schumacher, MA, MS has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Illinois until 2015. Molly then joined Bradley University as an Adjunct Instructor from 2015 to 2019. From 2015 to 2019, they also served as a Biological Science Technician at the USDA, National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, where they managed a research lab and mentored student interns. In 2020, Molly took on the role of Human Trafficking Services Intern at the Center for Prevention of Abuse, where they worked on strategic planning and PR projects. Currently, they are employed at the United Way of Dane County, starting as a Loaned Executive Campaign Fundraising Specialist from July 2021 to November 2021. Later, they became a Donor Engagement Coordinator, where they stewarded a portfolio of midlevel donors and supported various affinity groups. Molly currently holds the position of Director of Donor Engagement at United Way of Dane County since May 2023.
Molly Schumacher, MA, MS has a strong educational background with degrees in both biology and non-profit leadership. Molly obtained a Master of Arts in Non-Profit Leadership from Bradley University, completing the program from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Molly earned a Master of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Illinois State University, graduating in 2015. Molly also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Illinois State University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011.
In addition to their degrees, Molly Schumacher has pursued further certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in related fields. Molly completed the Mid-Level Cert Course Veritus Scholar Certificate at Veritus Group Academy in July 2023. Molly also obtained a certification in Discovering a Donor's Passions and Interests from Veritus Group in October 2021. Furthermore, they have completed Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Advocacy Training at the Center for Prevention of Abuse in January 2021.
