Taylor Franklin, M.A. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strategic Collaborations - Education Portfolio at United Way of Dane County. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Case Manager Fellow in the Dean of Students Office and as a Program Director at Wheelhouse Studios. They also have experience as the Co-Director of Ótimo Dance, where they were involved in program direction, coordination, community collaboration, and event planning for a Brazilian inspired dance company. Additionally, they have worked as an Art Teacher at Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District, Stoughton Area School District, and Madison Metropolitan School District. They also held positions such as Program Director at Bayview Foundation, Inc., Program Director at Hostelling International, Youth Director at Neighborhood House Community Center, and Art Director at Kingsley Pines Camp.
Taylor Franklin, M.A. began their education at the University of Minnesota from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and Education. They then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, attending from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Taylor Franklin holds a WI Teacher's Certification in Art Education 550-74 - Professional Lifelong Educator License, which was obtained in June 2011 from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
