Valerie Melendez is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial management. Currently serving as an Accounting Assistant at United Way of Delaware since December 2013, Valerie manages monthly financials for three companies, conducts cash flow and agency analyses, and handles various tasks related to accounts payable, bank deposits, and ledger entries. Prior experience includes working as an Accountant at Access Group, Inc. from January 2008 to December 2013, where responsibilities encompassed monthly accounting processes and trust account reconciliations. Valerie holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Goldey Beacom College, as well as a diploma from Claymont High School.
