Julianna Frisch

Assistant to the President's Office, Special Projects at United Way of Greater Rochester

Julianna Frisch began their professional career in 1998 as a Catering Coordinator at BASC at SUNY Brockport. In 2005, they joined Roberts Wesleyan College as an Aramark. In 2004, they joined Monroe Community College as an Assistant to the President, Strategic Initiatives. In this role, they supported the College President, gathered information, acted as a liaison and advisor to senior leadership, oversaw strategic projects, and led cross-divisional workgroups. Julianna also oversaw the Institutional Research Department, managed meeting and event preparation, and administered the budget development process. In 2021, they joined Genesee Community College as a Workforce Training Specialist. In this role, they administered training contracts and programs, wrote and administered grants, and coordinated employers and training providers. In 2022, they joined United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes as an Assistant to the President's Office, Special Projects and Executive Assistant to President & CEO. In these roles, they were a liaison between the President and employees, oversaw the operations of the President/CEO's office, supervised the work of the Executive Assistant to the President, and was a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Julianna Frisch has a Masters of Science in Management from Roberts Wesleyan University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Julianna also has a BS in Pre Professional English from SUNY Brockport, which they obtained from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, Frisch has obtained a Innovation Engineering Blue Belt from the Innovation Engineering Institute in April 2019, as well as a Certified Special Event Planner (CSEP) from the International Special Events Society (ISES).
